Golden Rosary is a reference on praying the rosary, written and maintained by Antonio Green. The pages here are kept up to date rather than posted and forgotten, and every one carries the date it was last revised.
What this is
Straight answers to the questions people actually ask about the rosary: how to pray it, which mysteries belong to which day, what the prayers mean, and how to keep going when you keep falling off. There is a companion app for praying it, and the two are meant to be used together, but everything here is readable without installing anything or creating an account.
How these pages are made
Research and first drafts are assembled with the help of software. Nothing publishes without a person rewriting and editing it, and every page carries at least one passage written from experience rather than assembled from other articles.
Pages that make doctrinal claims are reviewed before publication, and the reviewer is named on the page with their credentials. If no reviewer has read a page, it says so and stays out of the library until one has.
Where the claims come from
Every doctrinal claim links to the Catechism of the Catholic Church with its paragraph number, to a papal document, or to another Church-published source, so you can check it rather than take our word for it. Where something is a widespread custom rather than a requirement, the page says which it is. That distinction gets blurred constantly in writing about the rosary, and blurring it makes people anxious about praying wrong.
What this site is not
It is not an apologetics site and it is not a general Catholic blog. It covers the rosary. Everything else is somebody else's subject.
